UPnP Forum holds regular Forum Summits where members share information and conduct Forum business. In addition, quarterly Forum-wide Plugfests test interoperability of Devices.

UPnP Forum Summit

Summit Slides are available for download from the link above. The Summit was held at the Microsoft Convention Center in Mountain View, California and highlighted the ongoing progress in the development and certification of UPnP devices, as well as the future direction of UPnP technology around XML and SOAP based technologies. Attendees learned the steps to develop, design and certify UPnP devices, and the the Summit included technical tracks discussing UPnP development tools and products, as well as a glimpse of what's on the roadmap for UPnP technology including an overview of how Web Services may be used in the future. There were also marketing tracks that highlighted UPnP business opportunities and growing momentum around UPnP products today.
